Agricultural Land: to Hold, to Buy or to Sell? BEFL Managing Director Vladislav Novoselov shares his business opinion

The number of prospective investors interested in agribusiness is gradually increasing. However, just a few of them agree to make real investments, since considerable opportunities are related with serious risks.

One of the most crucial risks concerns land rights and has a significant impact on attitude and behavior of market participants.

At the VIII Annual Business Conference 'Agriholdings of Russia', BEFL Managing Director Vladislav Novoselov shared his expert opinion on the currents situation at the agricultural land market and presented a report ‘Agricultural Land: to Hold, to Buy or to Sell?’ The Conference was arranged by ‘Agroinvestor’ magazine. It was held in Moscow on December 02, 2011.

The Conference was attended by about 150 Chief Executive Officers of agricultural holdings and enterprises, investment, managing, leasing and insurance companies, agricultural suppliers of production facilities and processers of agricultural products, federal analysts and industry experts. Among the participants of the Conference were: Agrogard, AgroTerra, Amazone, Bunge, Dmitrovsk vegetables, Cargill, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Syngenta, Terra-Invest, Agroco, Stoylenskaya Niva, Russian milk company, Razgulay, Russian Land, John Deere, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Holding company Ak Bars, JSFC Systema, Ñlaas, Rostselmash, OPIN, etc.
